To open a corporate bank account in Singapore, you are most likely to need a Certified True Copy of ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority) Search. But how exactly do that?

Here’s how.

1. Click on the Information Services option at Bizfile.
   
2. Select the Business Profile option in the Instant Information Service menu.
   
3. Read the instructions provided and click the Accept button.
4. Fill in your NRIC Number, Name and Email Address. Be sure to double check your email address. That’s the most important if you are requesting an electronic copy (default), ACRA will send the report to the email address you provided. Click the Save button.
5. Click the Business Profile/People Profile tab and fill in your Company Registration No. and click the Search button. Your company profile will be listed, click the Add to Cart button.
6. Under View Cart tab, review your order first before you click the Proceed For Payment button. Have your credit card number ready, you will be prompted the mode of payment (eNets).
7. Print a copy of your payment receipt (just in case). You should receive an email within the next hour or so. Click on the url provided and download the copy of the Business profile.
8. Print it out and you are done!

Maybe ACRA or the local banks want to consider including this in their FAQ section.
