I am giving away FREE Domains! For Real!
August 7th, 2006
I’m giving away free domains! For real! Early this year, I have some plans for these domains, made my purchases. But things never really took off, now I have no use for these domains. I figured I might as well give these domains to someone who might have plans for these domains. Here’s a list of domains I’m giving away.
www.christmasverse.net
www.yummyking.net
www.recipes365.net
I understand some of you might be skeptical. But I assured you this is a not a joke of any kind. If you are keen on these domains, leave me a comment, I will contact you about transfering these domains to you. Only restriction is One domain per person ONLY. Just to be fair to everyone.

I am interested in YummyKing.net
Any domains I’ve used in the past; tacex.com, hack-phreak.com, have been loaned from friends.
I am 15 years old; thus I’ve no credit card; thus I’ve no means of acquiring domains.
I did snag safak.be, when Belgium was offering free domains, but it has since expired.
I code in HTML rather fluently, and am learning CSS and AJAX. Also, I have studio 8, so a domain to showcase any flash applications, image editing, or website layouts would be nifty.
I have numerous content hosted throughout the web, I could use a simple domain to redirect to various things.
But most of all.
I’ve always wanted my VERY OWN domain :’[
Get at me.

[…] I listed some domains to be given away in my previous post, I figured I’d write a short digg in tech deals about it. And I must say the response has been pretty good. Here’s how the traffic look like. In fact the traffic comes in within the first hour of posting the article at digg, comments, requests, emails started flowing in. Although the traffic is not fantastic, it really give me a good insight on how to generate more traffic to my weblog. […]

Hi Tors,
Sorry right now I’ve given out most of the domains I’ve on hand, I still have a couple which I might give out in the future, I would you suggest that you revisit me on the free domains thingy.
As for the domains, they are much like name or address whereby you type to locate a page, e.g. yahoo.com or google.com I’m not sure for what purpose you require a domain, if it’s a for business you own, it’s great to get your own domain. However if you are looking to have a blog, maybe you want to give wordpress.com a try first. You can get started writing straightaway.
Even with a domain you still need to get web hosting to make your website work. All and all there’s a bit of investment you need to get your own domain and stuff. Being a newbie, try out those free stuffs first, there’s huge community behind it too. It’s a great way to start learning.
If you wish to pick up more about the internet, I could setup a Campfire chat to teach you a little more about the internet and web thingy.

[…] I just started an online store with SpreadShirt.com to sell tees, I hope to make enough money from this online store to continue the whole giving away free domains thingy which I did in early August 2006. The whole giving experience has been very fun and addictive, I hope to do it again soon. […]
