November 13th, 2007
The Windows Server 2008 will be released in eight versions but there are three of them that will support virtualization. Everything should be virtualized: desktop, the server, presentations and the programs.
In almost each sentence Bob Kelly, head director for the Microsoft infrastructure, names the word virtual.
- - Virtualization is very hyped at the moment, but the truth is that it means high efficiency with low costs, and that is two facts that our clients is demanding.
In the heart of all virtualizations will Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager always be there, one of three parts in the new System Center-family for system administration. You can now jump between different service packs and installations in a real environment without rebooting the virtual machine.
