The largest newspaper in sweden, aftonbladet.se, got their servers totally hacked during the last weeks. The group called “Vuxna arga hackare” which in english would be “Adult angry hackers”. The reason of why Vuxna arga hackare (VAH) hacked aftonbladet is because of a couple of days earlier they hacked one of the biggest TV channels in Sweden, Tv3, and got no attention at all from media. They totally ignored the hacking and because of that, they attacked aftonbladet.
VAH hacked afonbladet and gained control of their whole mail-server and all passwords and usernames to the system, which they then released to public at the swedish forum flashback.se. Ironicly, the IT-security crews had passwords such as “anakin” and a dozen of the publishers had their firstname as password.
They did also hack this same newspaper two years ago and was called “script-kiddies” by the aftonbladet security team which then, of course, had this eaten up this time when they decided to publish the story.
What can we learn from this? Well.. It’s not possible to be totally safe on the net and even though you are dedicated to keep the security up, you are not guaranteed to complete the job.
ps. VAH got inspired of another big swedish hacking-group called AUH(Arga unga hackare), which means Angry youth hackers. I love their names!

 Johns blog made about $350 dollars his first month. This month, November 2007, he managed to earn $23450. That’s insane!
He tells us that November is traditionally the best month of making money on the internet. He made about $13000 on private ad sales, $6600 on Affiliate commisions, $4400 on ReviewMe, which I posted earlier about, $2000 from Text-link-ads, which I also posted earlier about. He had about 185 000 unique visitors and his eCPM is crazy.. He makes $84.19 eCPM. $80 for each 1000 pages.. If I made 1/100 of that I would be glad!
He tells us that the key is not to stand still and always try to optimize to get the best revenue.. And I guess I should follow as well to get the same revenue.
Btw.. He don’t get any referers from google since he’s banned from the search engine.. Try achieving an income of $27000 per month without google-referers.. Good luck, have fun

I’ve seen lot’s of talk about online gambling now. I don’t play online much at all but if I do, I play poker.
Horse gambling and things like that are just not my stuff, but online poker can be quite fun some late friday night. Since it’s so much money in this business it’s also so much companies that tries to scam you. So before you join any online gambling or online poker site, take a look at the site.. Does it look serious? Do you know any friends that play there?
It’s very easy to be fooled and once you’ve been that you probably won’t get your money back. I’d recommend to play online poker and online gambling at recommended sites and not to that site that pops up and says: “You have won a million $, register here for $50 and start playing with your money!”.
Just some thoughts!

In another year or two, Singapore will have his first casino, or rather, Las Vegas Sands will open the new resort in 2009. Honestly speaking, this kind of excite me, imagine the numbers of visitors coming in to Singapore monthly, and with the Formula 1 race confirmed. The Singapore economy definitely look good in the near future. It is estimated online/mobile gambling industry is a multi billions industry, with the most premiere players in US and UK, I wonder when will we get our first online casino, especially with some much money to be made. With that in mind, I did my little online casino reviews.
When you look at it, most people will be able to run their own casino. Just need to register a company in an offshore country, tax free country, spend a couple of thousand on the software and you are ready to start. And if you are the entrepreneur type, you should explore alternative like mobile gambling, etc. Lol, maybe I should explore these options further.
I promise if I ever start one, all Singaporeans get free $100 chips to start.

This how-to tip is for all the ladies in the house. (So sue me for being biased. :P)
You need two things, the first item is a spy software, the other is a spy camera. First install the spy software into your husband’s PC & notebook. The software will effectively capture all incoming and outgoing email, chats and instant messages in your husband’s PC or notebook- and IMMEDIATELY forward you an EXACT COPY. (Think of it as Open Communication between the both of you.)
Next you need to find a spot in your house to place the spy camera, so that you can record it down. I can’t be sure if this could be use in court, maybe some lawyer friend out there can comment on it. But effectively now you become a YouTube Director!
All that need to be now is to relax, go out shopping (Perhaps couple more LV bags). And when you login the next morning, you will know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the whole truth.
But honestly, unless if your husband…
Stay up late every night.
Is always on the computer.
Is always complaining that he doesn’t have enough $$$ to spare.
You really should worry at all.

Have you heard of Twitter? Chances are you’d probably heard of it, it’s in the Top 10 searches on the Technorati Popular for quite a while. Just in case, you haven’t heard the buzz, Twitter is born as a side project within the offices of Odeo (this is part of Obvious Corporation, confusing right?), mostly Twitter is for staying in touch and keeping up with friends via instant mobile updates or a personalized Twitter page (this is mine).
Much like MySpace, you can add friends to your Twitter page. A bit like RSS feeds, friends and visitors can add you as a friend and receive instant updates by you.
When you think of it, effectively you have just setup ‘Email Marketing’ tool for yourself! You can now update all your friends and subscribers instantly without having to worry about the technical details needed to send out email newsletters, no need to manage mailing lists, etc. Just personalized your message and click the Update button. Can it be any simpler?
For subscribers, you definitely help them to address the issue about the email privacy, or whether they will getting plenty of ’spams’ or you will sell their email address once they subscribe to your mailing list, etc. All this concerns all gone!
O… did I mention it’s FREE too? No .05c per email sent thingy.
